Biography:
My name is Lisa Lewis and I have been living in Bruce Mines for the past three years and am originally from the Algoma Area. I own and operate my own business, Lisa’s Red Wagon Treasures. I am passionate about our nation and want to do my part to keep women in our region engaged and supported. I want to involve women by sharing my love of cultural activities and crafts, as I’ve previously done with the North Channel Metis Council. I want to ensure that the women of our region feel comfortable bringing their concerns to my attention and allow them to have a safe space to express themselves.
I retired from Unilever after twenty-five years where I was involved with the Health and Safety Committee, Social Committee and trained incoming staff. I also volunteered at the Norfolk General Hospital in Simcoe, Ontario. It’s always been a priority for me to be an advocate for women and their concerns.
